Chemotherapy is a good choice to remove the cancer but to be 100% sure that the cancer is gone surgery would be the best choice.
Chemotherapy is a good choice to remove cancer that has spread, but Bill's cancer hasn't spread yet. A more concentrated choice would be better for Bill at the moment, if his cancer spread chemotherapy would be a good choice.
